Michael Dwaileebe paints in oils. He started out as a Plein Aire painter, but currently uses photographs taken by himself and his wife as his starting points. He enjoys painting what he sees in front of him, pushing color and texture. His subject matter is gathered from vacation trips in Arizona, California, and Oregon. His goal is to have the viewer of his paintings "wish they were there" and enjoy these scenes in a celebration of nature and man's creations.
Michael's work can be seen at the Brian Scott Gallery, Wright's Frame Shop and Gallery, and The Manley Art Center.
