Sun Levine is a local potter who creates at her home studio in Brookings. She was introduced to pottery in 2002 when she took an evening class at a community center and has been learning ever since. She likes to explore the basic geometric properties of shapes to create her pottery and decorate with intricate patterns and contrasting color glazes.
Sun's work can be seen at Manley Art Center, Brian Scott Gallery and Redwood Coast Art Association galleries in Crescent City, as well as CeramicsBySun on Etsy. She usually participates in the annual Azalea Festival Art Show, Festival of Art in Stout Park and Brookings Harbor Holiday Bazaar.
